Banks and neobanks address you as a customer. Custody, identity, and inference live on their side of the glass.
Square and Cash App put Lightning in ordinary commerce. What is missing is a first-party desktop that treats that network as the default ledger.
A bank that also runs a private model is a different product than a wallet with a chatbot bolted on.
Inference is pooled across OpenRouter and Cerebras. A difficulty parameter rises with participation. As user count grows, unit cost falls. Phones pay less. Desktops that contribute compute pay less still.
