The .dmg is available in v0.1.2 for alpha testers. v0.1.3 is in testing toward a stable, limited-release Mac distribution.

First launch

The .dmg may not open the first time

macOS Gatekeeper blocks unsigned builds. This is expected for an alpha.

Unsigned build

Gatekeeper will refuse a normal double-click. Open it once the long way and macOS will trust it from then on.

Right-click the app in Finder
Don't double-click it the first time.
Choose Open
This is the option Gatekeeper suppresses on a normal launch.
Confirm in the dialog
macOS remembers the choice; later launches are normal.

The idea

Your own bank, on your own machine

Drive across America and you see the same skyline everywhere — fast food on every corner, bank towers over every downtown. The whole landscape is built to address you as a consumer, and everyone is inundated by it.

hM Desktop is built for the other role. It is a desktop app that is your own bank — your keys, your dollars, your AI, running on your machine — teetering on a new future where you have control over your finances and unlimited productivity.

This is our current flagship. We're proud of it, and increasingly we think it's inevitable.

Testing now

Where the build stands

v0.1.2 is out to alpha testers. v0.1.3 is next.

The web demo below is accessible if you'd like to see our previous version from the alpha tests. The .dmg is available in v0.1.2 — it may not launch on all macOS versions yet, as it is still being built out as a desktop app. We are currently testing and will release v0.1.3 soon, working toward a stable Mac app distribution with launch features in a limited release.
